Last Sunday, Marc Dusseiller aka dusjagr, gave a presentation in Vebikus Kunsthalle Schaffhausen, as part of the exhibition “Wolken riechen – Hybride Positionen in der Kunst” curated by Leo-Bettina Roost and André Bless.
As some kinda afternoon walk-through around objects and artefacts from the last 2 years of international projects by dusjagr the audience was introduced into the history, workshops and transdisciplinary practice celebrated as the Hackteria Network Approach worldwide. The presentation was concluded with a screening of the preview of the documentary of Biohack Retreat Klöntal 2017 (edited by Sandra Bühler) to give an insight into the typical format of a temporary lab for collaborative production and discourse, a format that has been developed through-out the years in the framework of the HackteriaLabs and other temporary sessions.
The afternoon was concluded by a broader discussion with the audience and several invited participants, Dr. Julian Chollet (mikrobiomik.org), the artist duo Baggenstos/Rudolf (who are also presented in the exhibition), Jana Honegger (Werkhof Neunkirch) and the curator Leo-Bettina Roost.
