The UNESCO Chair in Technologies for Development hosted by the Cooperation and Development Center (CoDEV) will hold the third International Conference on Technologies for Development and asks "What is Essential?" How to alleviate poverty in this world? Innovative technologies? What is appropriate technology?

For clarification on what this waterhackathon is, it is
- a satellite program of the UNESCO Conference Chair in Technologies for Development: What is Essential?, of the Open Science session, co-chaired by Sachiko Hirosue and Denisa Kera

Enrollment
Register! For the hackathon, please register online prior to the event, so we know who will be joining us.
- Everyone who is registered on the site above for the hackathon will have a Friday day pass to the Conference at the Convention Center.
- People are required to pick up their badge on Friday morning (open starting 8:30am) at the Conference Registration at the Swiss Tech Convention Center on EPFL campus.

If you are already attending the Conference, and you would like to sign up, please look for us in the main hall, where we will have an exhibition space throughout the conference.
Venues
1) Exhibition table at entrance hall of the Swiss Tech Convention Center conference venue

EPFL campus can be easily accessed by public transport. The new Swiss Tech Convention Centre is on EPFL campus.
