Short Bio: Urs Gaudenz is microengineer and founder of GaudiLabs. He worked for Swiss high tech companies in the field of micro sensor technology and brushless motor control. With his solid background in electronics, mechanics and software he is working in a concurrent style between the disciplines. After several years of experience as a consultant in innovation management he is now engaged as lecturer for product innovation at the Lucerne University of Applied Science and Arts. His aim is to evolve towards more balanced collaborative entities in social action, business and technology.

Short Bio: Dr. Marc R. Dusseiller is a transdisciplinary scholar, lecturer for micro- and nanotechnology (FHNW, University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland), cultural facilitator and artist. He works in an integral way to combine science, art and education. He performs DIY (do-it-yourself) workshops in lo-fi electronics, hardware hacking, microscopy, music and robotics. He was co-organizing Dock18, Room for Mediacultures, diy* festival (Zürich, Switzerland), KIBLIX 2011 (Maribor, Slovenia), workshops for artists, schools and children as the former president (2008-12) of the Swiss Mechatronic Art Society, SGMK. Currently, he is developing means to perform bio- and nanotechnology research and dissemination (Hackteria | Open Source Biological Art) in a DIY fashion in kitchens, ateliers and in developing countries.

Short Bio: Sharath Chandra Ram has research and pedagogical interests in citizen science, cognitive neuroscience, digital humanities and media arts. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh specializing in Artificial Intelligence and interactive virtual environments within the Institute of Perception Action and Behaviour. He is teacher at Faculty at Srishti School of Art Design & Technology and a researcher at the Centre for Internet & Society, where he setup and coordinates activities of the Metaculture Media Lab, an open citizen hackerspace.

Tipps for travelling to India

VISA

Almost everybody travelling to India will need a visa. tourist should be ok for participating at the lab. it usually takes 1-3 weeks depending on where you apply for it. one has to fill the online application first and then send or bring everything to a local indian embassy/consulate in your country.

Online VISA to india

selected countries, such as finland, singapore, japan etc.. are eglegible for visa-on-arrival. but only at designated airports, not including bangalore.
