Welcome

Event Description

New participation and work concepts that go beyond open innovation towards true collaboration need to be developed. Digital Biology and Do-it-Yourself (DIY) communities' event taps into this by describing in detail a research-in-action on success factors of collaboration in perspective of pharmaceutical companies and DIY communities.

Discussion proceeds will start with presenting insights from research and interview studies that help perspectively diverse and participants from both communities identify existing loopholes, while providing collaboration opportunities via discussion and prototyping in a communication and procedure guidelines.

How to get There

Prior to your arrival in Luzern, we prepared some logistic summary of the event for your review.

HOW TO GET TO LUCERNE FROM ZURICH AIRPORT

There are two possible ways to travel to the city of Lucerne from Zurich airport. The first is by taxi and the second by train. Taxis are available at the airport throughout the entire day. The train from the airport to Lucerne is the IR70 and IC 1 which are available from 5am to 11:36pm. The Zurich airport taxi ride to the city of Lucerne takes approximately 45 minutes, under normal traffic conditions, and will cost around 240€. The train ride to Lucerne costs 12.50€ for a regular one way ticket.

Stick to the SBB web site. Choose the plain "Luzern" option. That's the central station. You can also purchase the ticket via the ticket machine at Zurich airport, but there's also the SBB ticket counter/center close to the arrival area. When you emerge from arrivals at Zürich airport, just follow signs "Bahn/Railway", This will take you to the station. At the ticket office, ask for a ticket to Luzern. The ticket seller will also tell you when the next train is and where to catch it - easy! There are multiple departures per hour from the Zurich airport to Luzern. The departure boards and platforms are easy to follow. If confused, ask a SBB official. And if you miss your train, relax. Another one is leaving in 30 minutes. I would recommend - make it easier for yourself. Take a direct train which goes every hour. They alternate: direct train, half an hour later train which goes somewhere else and you have to change in Zurich Hauptbahnhof then half an hour later again direct train to Luzern and so on. The only little problem when buying tickets from the machine. It does not accept our credit cards. Ergo, you have to withdraw cash from ATM and pay with it.

HOW TO GET TO GAUDILABS FROM LUCERNE
