ADIMA, a theater group from Terahalli hosted us. The terrain was rocky - formed from lava rocks form millions of years ago. Temperatures were hot - 30C in the morning and lowered to about 20C in the evenings.

We also visited Kolar Gold Fields(KGF)[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kolar_Gold_Fields], where we had the opportunity to speak with the manager of the Kolar Municipal Corporation. Unfortunately, our field trip was too short for us to visit the abandoned mine shafts to take samples.
