In the Overheadbots workshop you create a tiny solar robot that harvest its energy from the light of an overhead projector. Whenever the robot has collected enough energy it makes a pulsed movement. Through the projection this movement and the robots shadow appear as real-time animated shadow play.

The workshop has two parts, first a technical part and second a design part. In the technical part you solder the electronic circuit. In the design part you work on the shape  of the robot and the image that is produced through the projection.
