Skill Share

Encourage your group members to share their unique skills and determine what skill they may need to reach their goals.

Task2.jpg Task1.jpg

Knowledge Hunt

Find out whatyour team already knows about challenges you're interested in solving together and what you'd like to learn.

Task Knowledge Hunt 1.jpg

Jam Session + Cull The Set

Create as many ideas as possivle with your group, exploring a range of different solutions and building on each other's ideas in a supportive manner.

Look across all the ideas your group has created and decide which ideas should be made real and for the right reason.

Mock Up Protoyping

During our Mock Up Prototping Session we prepared three small models which are a simple visualisation of the human skin.

One was the normal skin like everybody has it. The second one is a normal skin with our nano layer which is at the moment in the "off" modus because there is no impact. The third model shows the nano layer in the "on" modus where it gets stiff to protect from an impact.

The finished Mock Up has to be presented in a very short form in front of all the other students to show them our general project idea.

To visualise we showed at the small skin models what our Nano Skin is able of. We showed how it absorbs the shocks with a hammer and that it is as well a protection against knifes.

After our short presentation of our Mock Up we got some input from the other students. What they think about the project, what questions do they have about it and what kind of problems do they see.

Input.jpg

- When the skin reacts, where does it get stiff? Completely or only partially?

- What happens with the skin when the person has a operation? Does it also get stiff? - This could be a real problem!!

- Can the person still feel anything or is it also a protection for pain and everything else?

- Has the skin the ability to differentiate between fun and danger?

Project Management

Timeline

For the next two weeks we prepared a timetable and fixed the date where we meet up to diskuss the next steps.

Timetable.jpg

To Do and Name

We made a list of the stuff what we have to do in the next steps and assign the tasks to the different people. At the same time we discussed the name of our project as well as the name for our group.

To do.jpg

The name of our project and group is: SkiPo SkiPo is the short version for: Skin Protection

Story Line

We prepared toegether a story line of our presentation to structure all the data and stuff we want to show. Through the story line we also got a better picture what we have to prepare for the final.
