=染料敏化太陽能工作坊=
本工作坊於台灣陽明交通大學應用藝術所進行，將教導參與者如何自製[https://zh.wikipedia.org/zh-tw/%E6%9F%93%E6%96%99%E6%95%8F%E5%8C%96%E5%A4%AA%E9%98%B3%E8%83%BD%E7%94%B5%E6%B1%A0 染料敏化太陽能電池（dye sensitized solar cell, DSSC）]並進一步討論在概念上和互動實作上將其使用於藝術雕塑的可能性。DSSC由瑞士科學家Michael Grätzel於1991年發明，又稱Grätzel cell，屬於第三代太陽能電池的早期版本，是一項成本便宜且製作容易的電池，因為其二氧化鈦奈米層能被夠被圖案化，並且能被各種天然染料染色，因此具有藝術化潛力，特別是做為連結藝術、能源、[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agrivoltaics 光伏農業]、氣候的技術物件。數項與農業能源有關的藝術計劃與社群也將在工作坊中被介紹，在白盒子藝廊之外，推廣DIY和開源文化運動的藝術如何進行。在手作學習方面，參與者將接觸奈米技術科普，以自製DSSC做為感應器來控制數位內容。

由於單一太陽能電池的電壓僅為0.6V左右，通常將多個電池串聯以將電壓提高到適合應用的水平。 典型的屋頂太陽能板包含 60 個電池，導致開路電壓約 36 V。對於較大的系統，多個面板（或模組）再次串聯以增加系統電壓。 多個太陽能板的陣列也可能包含模組的並聯連接，但並聯連接通常只有在電壓有限的情況下才有意義。 串聯在相同電流下增加電壓，而並聯在保持電壓相同的情況下增加電流。 由於損耗隨著電流的增加而增加，串聯比並聯更有效。

=雷射染工作坊=
本工作坊以[https://shihweichieh.com/Laser-Dye-Project 雷射染計劃]為基礎，討論傳統顯影技術和程式碼藝術的結合方式。在 DIY 實作方面，本工作坊中將介紹以傳統的古老的氰版顯影與凡戴克技術做為感光藥劑，並使用可編程的雷射投影機，由 Max/MSP 控制雷射動作，以無遮照的曝光方式在天然纖維上製造印花圖案。在本堂工作坊中使用了由英國攝影師邁克威爾改良過後的新氰版顯影來製造有別於傳統藍曬的青藍色，並用凡戴克棕來製作介於紅與黑色之間的紅棕色。而在時尚與穿戴科技方面，我們也可以談到[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hussein_Chalayan Hussein Charlayan]其是一位大量使用當代科技元素在時尚領域的一位設計師。

雷射在各工業領域中扮演重要的角色，在1960年開始已開始有被使用在藝術領域裡的先例，特別是在 sonic art 領域裡。使用雷射做為作品的先驅藝術家主要包括 Robin Fox, Carsten Nicolai, Robert Henke
