ALS II

ALS II consists of 0.2M NaOH and 1% SDS(Sodium Dodecyl Suplhate).
SDS is responsible for rupturing the cell membrane and NaOH raises the pH of
the media upto ph 14.0 at which the DNA can get denatured easily.
