Nur Akbar Arofatullah

Nur Akbar Arofatullah (1987) is an independent researcher currently working at the Departement of Microbiology of Agriculture Faculty UGM Yogyakarta, Indonesia.  He focused on the field of fermentation techniques in various system such liquid and solid-state fermentation. Several of his main research are bioethanol fermentation from sweet sorghum juice, biofertilizer, organic farming, and sillage fermentation for cattle feeds. He is a co-founder of “Bangun Indonesia” organization where he is actively giving trainings and workshops about Bio-activator, liquid organic fertilizer, compost, livestock-woof fermentation, and bio-pesticide for the farmers and local citizens of Yogyakarta and Central Java. His current research project is an in vitro method for establishing mycorrhizae on elais guineensis tree.
